Solar Collectors

Solar thermal collectors are suitable for systems designed for DHW and pool heating and support space heating. Due to their simple design, flat plate collectors are cheaper than evacuated tube ones but their efficiency is lower compared to the latter, namely under low outdoor temperatures and during periods of little sunshine. On the other hand, evacuated tube collectors with the absorption layer protected by vacuum, feature a very low heat loss and their efficiency does not deteriorate with lower outdoor temperatures and less sunshine.
